Solutions for High Density Data Centers

Close-Coupled Cooling: A Better Way

Room-based Cooling is an ineffective approach to next generation data centers. Channel Performance has led the way in transitioning organizations to more efficient cooling solutions. Placing cooling, in row, adjacent to the heat load of critical servers, increases the predictability & redundancy while improving the energy efficiency of your data center.

Close-Coupled Cooling from APC

Solutions

High-density servers require a new approach to data center cooling. Channel Performance provides several InRow solutions to address the need for increased cooling capacity and cooling efficiency. We recommend evaluating the following:

InRow RP

  • Energy Efficient
  • High Capacity Air
    Conditioning
  • Air or Water Cooled
  • Variable Speed Fans

InRow RC

  • Energy Efficient
  • Variable Speed Fans
  • Up to 70kW of Cooling
    Per Rack
  • Modular Architecture

Thermal Containment Solutions Compliment InRow:

Customers rely on Channel Performance to evaluate and recommend a wide range of thermal containment solutions as complimentary solutions to close coupled cooling. Deploying a Hot Aisle Containment System (HACS) or Rack Aisle Containment System (RACS) to supplement InRow is a best practice.

Hot Aisle Containment System (HACS)
Rack Air Containment System (RACS)

  • Easy to Install
  • Seals in Hot Air
  • Modular, Scalable Architecture

Customer Testimonial for APC InRow RC Units

Keynote Systems Deploys InfraStruXure® Technology to Support Growth, Save Energy

"By combining highly energy-efficient chillers, APC InRow® RC cooling units, and an MGE 225 kVA high-efficiency UPS, while retaining the same computer equipment we had before, we were able to transform from an environment that was unable to handle any failure to a new environment that is fully redundant and requires less than 50% of all the cooling capacity available..."
